The Crescent dual lumen cannula by Medtronic

This is a single access site dual lumen cannula created by Medtronic. This cannula has some great features that clinicians appreciate. The Crescent cannula comes in 24Fr through 32Fr sizes and ranges from 30cm to 34cm in length.

The cannula is typically placed in the right internal jugular vein, under fluoroscopy for appropriate positioning. The dual lumen single site cannulation strategy helps encourage mobility and early ambulation for the patient.

Features include:
- Radiopaque markers: one of our favorite features of this cannula are the four sets of markers that can be seen on X-ray to help you as a clinician determine the position of the cannula. This is a great assessment tool that helps ensure position has not moved within the SVC/IVC after placement.
- Gold suture ring: there is a gold ring that specifically holds or cradles the cannula suture to ensure it does not slide up or down the cannula once in position.
