-Professor Jean-Louis Teboul, MD, PhD-
Jean-Louis Teboul is the Professor of Therapeutics and Critical Care Medicine at the University Paris - Saclay in France. He is the head of the Medical ICU of the Bicetre University Hospital, France. His research interests are in the field of hemodynamics of critically ill patients. He proposed several tests to assess fluid responsiveness such as pulse pressure variation and passive leg raising.
His list of publications includes 296 articles referenced in Pubmed and 140 book chapters/didactic articles. His H index is 83 for Publish or Perish and 69 for Web of Science. He has given 1,030 invited lectures including 845 international conferences. Dr. Teboul received the Honorary Fellow Honor Award of the American College of Chest Physicians in 2007.
- Dr. Chacon-Lozsan Francisco -
Venezuelan medical doctor who graduated from Lisandro Alvarado University, Intensive Care Medicine Specialist. He received special training in acute cardiovascular care at Harvard University in cardiology, cardiovascular research and cardiovascular intensive care as well as advanced hemodynamic monitoring at the University of California. Research interests include hemodynamics, shock and lung mechanics. He is currently working at Koranyi National Institute of Pulmonology in the COVID Intensive Care Unit and ECMO support in Budapest.
- Keith Bartolome BSN, RN, CCRN -
Keith is a native of South Florida. He received his BSN from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL and started his career in the Cardio-Thoracic ICU at Tampa General Hospital. It was there that he started working with cardiac surgical patients, often requiring mechanical circulatory devices such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, and ECMO therapy. Currently, Keith is stationed at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in their Medical ICU, the only military hospital to provide ECMO therapy in the Department of Defense.
